The Duplex Stainless Steel Syphon and Snubber are made up of about 22–25% chromium, 5–7% nickel, 3% molybdenum, along with trace amounts of nitrogen and manganese. Their unique duplex (austenitic-ferritic) microstructure grants them impressive tensile strength (up to 750 MPa) and excellent yield strength (around 450 MPa). These materials are highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and oxidation.
